Jill Litkowski is a nursing student at Milwaukee Area Technical College and will graduate with a Registered Nurse degree in December 2011. Jill is a job seeker who experienced first-hand about switching careers. Jill graduated from DePaul University with a double major in English and Communications, and after graduation joined the Peace Corps as a volunteer and lived in the Dominican Republic. After returning to America, Jill practiced as a Bilingual Paraprofessional in the Department of Special Education for Milwaukee Public Schools where she spent eight years before switching careers and pursued nursing.
